The presentation outlines how local farmers could access programs and incentives for sheep and beef cattle farming industries to make their farms safer.
WorkCover North West Team Co-ordinator Ian Shepherd said they want all farmers and farm workers to come home safely at the end of the working day.
"We are working closely with NSW Farmers so that rural workplaces can be safer and more productive."
NSW Farmers' Association CEO Matt Brand said the association is proud to be a part of this great initiative.
"Health and safety are of the utmost importance in the workplace and farming can be risky if safety measures are not implemented on-farm," he said.
"Greater safety measures lead to greater production and a healthier working environment for farming families and their employees."
Mr Shepherd said WorkCover was currently implementing an action plan to improve safety and injury management in the sheep and beef cattle farming industry after it had been identified as one of the state's highest risk industries.
"WorkCover is working with NSW Farmers and other industry stakeholders to improve safety and productivity in the sheep and beef cattle farming industry so that fewer families on the land experience the devastating impact of a workplace injury," Mr Shepherd said.
"The program includes a rebate of up to $2000 to sheep and beef cattle farmers who implement safety improvements that address high-risk work such as working with livestock, animal husbandry, shearing, operating tractors and attachments and, being exposed to sun, noise and chemicals on the farm.
"All farmers that receive a small business safety pack at the meetings may also be eligible for a rebate of up to $500 through WorkCover's Small Business Rebate Program which can be used to purchase and install safety improvements."
