It's interesting the Sydney Morning Herald (the Daily Liberal's stablemate in Fairfax Media) ran a story yesterday on its front page stating that 9pm is now the new midnight - allowing the young and not so young to catch the fireworks display on television before trundling off to bed.
The combination of long days and hot nights is certainly a catalyst for those at the grindstone to try and stave off the steam-rolling urge to catch a nana-nap in the mid afternoon.
After all, we were able to enjoy one after the thoroughly enjoyable Christmas and Boxing Day meals and then again on the weekend - so little wonder your body craves another even though yesterday was spent back at work.
