The inaugural tri-club tournament featuring players from Dubbo's Paramount club, Orange, and Bathurst completed its third round last weekend but each of the three participating groups have enjoyed it so much the decision was made to play a further three rounds this year.
Orange sits at the top of the ladder at what is now the halfway point after strong results at home on the weekend while Bathurst is second and Dubbo is at the bottom without a win to its name.

Despite that record, Paramount Tennis Club president Charlie Whitely said the tournament has been a huge positive for the game in this region and has allowed younger players to develop and given experienced competitors something new.
"When we hosted in May it was a fantastic day on court for all three clubs and while we're all there to win everyone enjoys playing some different players and representing their club," Whiteley said.
"From our experience there was good off-court enthusiasm. People were cheering on their teammates and the play in general so it's something we've certainly enjoyed been a part of and, speaking with other teams, we know it's something they're enjoying being part of.
"There's still the second half of the competition to go but it's definitely something we're looking to continue in future years."
Whiteley - who confirmed the club was following all guidelines after travelling to what is now a lockdown site on the weekend - was hopeful results will improve in the next three rounds.
The Dubbo club lost 5-0 to both Orange and Bathurst on Saturday but Whitely said there's still plenty of confidence the gap between Paramount and the top two can be closed in the coming months.
"We've had a bit of a slow start but we're very confident in our own ability and we know we can play better," he said.
"It's something we need to do and we need to pick the right players for the relevant match and then go out and perform.
"Full credit goes to Orange and Bathurst at the moment but there's a long way to go and we're comfortable enough knowing if we play better the results will come.
"It's just a matter of doing that now."
A big positive for Whitely is seeing younger and relatively new players like Lindon Limpriere, Matt Neill, Sean Behsman, and Corey Blattman take part on the weekend alongside regulars like Glenn Armstrong, Craig Taylor, Mike Sutherland, and Andrew Kierath.
Orange Indoor Tennis Club will host again on August 29 while the action is set to return to Paramount Tennis Club in October.
