A new employer at Dubbo needs "super- duper" staff at his soon-to-be-opened cafe in the Macquarie Building at Dubbo Hospital.

Jeremy Norris, chosen by a Dubbo Hospital committee to feed the people who pass through its doors, already employs 50 staff across his existing six businesses including two in medical settings at Orange and Jimmy Barnets at The Exchange at Dubbo.
The owner of the Byng Street Coffee Cart at Orange Hospital and Cafe Bloom at the city's Bloomfield Medical Centre tells of "good staff" being an essential ingredient in their success.

The 28-year veteran of the hospitality industry says medical staff at the two Orange sites are busy and a coffee break allows them to "take a breath".
"We also have the patients and the families of patients who might be visiting a loved one and sometimes, even though they haven't asked, you can tell they need a shoulder to cry on.
"That's when super-duper staff are very important.
"You need to be there to hear what they are going though and be sympathetic to what they are experiencing.
"Sometimes you might see the same family member every day for a week or two weeks and you know they are here to have their first baby so it's definitely free coffee when those things happen."
Care and comfort will extend to the new Dubbo Hospital cafe's offerings.
Mr Norris said sugary drinks and chocolate bars were not permitted to be sold under new NSW Health guidelines but patrons would be able to choose from fresh sandwiches, salads, soups, jaffles, smoothies, milkshakes and "delicious" coffee.
"I am also talking to a couple of local restaurants about some other ideas that will keep the offering interesting and constantly evolving," he said.
"Take-home offerings" for busy staff and others who don't have time to cook dinner will include pies, lasagnes, quiches, curries and pasta.
"We will also have our app online so that people can just order and collect without having to line up," Mr Norris said.
Fit-out of the cafe in the Macquarie Building's front of house has begun with Mr Norris hoping to open it on July 1.

Full and part-time positions are on offer along with "flexible hours and above-award wages".
Mr Norris, who lives with his family on a small farm outside Orange, also owns the Byng Street Local Store and The Base at the DPIE offices at Orange, and Larder and Home at Lucknow.
He has hinted that the currently-unnamed cafe at Dubbo Hospital will not be his last business venture.
