On Thursday Services Australia has said the staff member has tested positive and the venue has been closed for a number of days.

"A deep clean has been completed and we're continuing to work with NSW Health, to ensure the safety of customers and our staff.

"We thank the community for their patience while this takes place. We are aiming to reopen on Friday September 4. We'll let the community know if that changes.

"In the meantime, customers can do most of their business online or call their main payment line for urgent matters," says Services Australia.

Things customers can do online include: reporting income, uploading documents, claiming payments or telling us about a change in their circumstances.

The Western NSW Local Health District says all identified close contacts have been advised to be tested for COVID-19 and have been provided with all the relevant Public Health information; such as to remain in isolation for 14 days.

It is important to note that if you haven't been contacted by the Public Health Unit, you haven't been identified as a close contact of the infected person.
