Frightfully Good is a paranormal and spiritual investigative duo comprising Newcastle's Oz Para Tech Owner Anne Rzechowicz and Psychic Medium Renata Daniels from Newcastle Ghost Tours.
Anne and Renta have travelled around Australia where they have conducted Ghost Hunts and tours at haunted locations, both for beginners and for the more "extreme".
The pair will lead groups on Ghost Hunting 101 tours through the Old Dubbo Gaol across two days, Friday March 27 and again on Saturday, March 28.
During the tour the group has the chance to use paranormal "technology, logic and science" to connect with spirits and guide groups through a true paranormal experience.
The Old Dubbo Gaol was a courthouse lockup in 1847, was proclaimed an official Gaol in 1859 and closed operations as a penal institution in 1966; rumours of paranormal activity have been widely spread throughout the Dubbo community since.
During the duo's last hunting mission at the Old Dubbo Gaol they experienced activity that they said could only be explained as paranormal.
"The old residences of the Gaol are definitely still lingering and intelligently interacting," Anne said.
"During our previous visit to the Old Dubbo Gaol, I had been using a spirit box 11. It was scanning through the airwaves at a rapid pace. Spirits manipulate the waves in order to speak to us," Anne said.
"Half of the group had headphones on, the other half were asking questions. So the people with headphones on couldn't hear the questions. We were at the end of the beds in the old hospital room. At the end of one bed, in particular, we connected with a spirit named Folk Barnett.
"I asked him how he died and he answered; a gun. Then I asked him where he had been shot, he said; in the groin. We looked at his history that was at the end of his bed and sure enough, he had died from a gunshot wound to the groin.
"We don't often get intelligent communication from spirits, usually they just moved things."
Anne said the tour is perfect for those who are really fascinated by ghost, but it is important for paranormal investigation groups to be respectful when conducting a hunt.
"Dark shadows still walk the old wings at night and the women's cells are especially spooky and the gadgets we will bring with us will help you make the connection between our world and theirs more real than ever before."
