A week after Luke Vincent captured the hearts of the world, the story of five-year-old who hugged Prince Harry and his wife Meghan is still being shared across the world.

Luke Vincent, from Buninyong Public School stole the show when he hugged Harry and Meghan after waiting in line to greet the royal couple at the Dubbo Regional Airport on Wednesday, October 17.
The young boy went straight in for a hug with Prince Harry before tugging his beard. He then gave Meghan flowers and a hug, before hugging Harry again and ruffling his hair.
The moment was captured by local, national and international media and has been shared widely since.
On the day Kensington Palace, who have 1.6 million followers on twitter, posted a picture of Luke hugging the Duchess. The tweet was liked over 5,000 and retweeted over 500 times.
They also shared the post on their official Instagram page which has 6.7 million followers.
In the days after the royal hug, Luke’s story has been shared across media outlets and social media across the world.

Dubbo real estate agent Bob Berry has followed the stories shared about Luke and in one tweet said, “Luke continuing to grab headlines as the star of the Dubbo royal visit”.
In other tweets Mr Berry said there had been “great coverage of Dubbo and our new number one citizen Luke Vincent” who put “Dubbo on the world stage”.
On October 18, Daily Telegraph cartoonist Warren Brown depicted the moment between Luke and their royal highnesses in the Daily Telegraph titled “Luke and the Duke”.
On Monday, Reddit user u/commonvanilla started a thread with the video below which has been viewed over 1.7 million times, “up voted” 99.3 thousand times and commented on over 1.9 thousand times.
While in Dubbo the royal couple toured the Royal Flying Doctors Service, the Woodley’s drought-affected farm Mountain View, Victoria Park and Delroy College Senior Campus.
