There has been a gap in flights from Dubbo to major cities including Brisbane and Melbourne since Jetgo stopped flights in May when the company went into voluntary admission.
Council have said they have been in talks with a number of airline carriers to rectify the situation since Jetgo stopped flights.
JetGo had been servicing Dubbo since 2015 before financial woes saw it suspend all flights and then enter voluntary administration.
Dubbo mayor Ben Shields has previously told the Daily Liberal he wanted to see the situation “resolved as soon as possible”.
