The shoes can currently be seen on the Hear Our Heart Earbus Project’s Facebook page. They’ll also be available to be tried on and bought at the Dubbo Scouts Fair on Friday evening.

Priya McDonald said the shoes had been purchased at a liquidation sale for another organisation to raise money, when they didn’t have the time to sell them, Hear Our Heart decided to take the shoes off their hands.

Ms McDonald said the not-for-profit organisation wanted to try something different to raise money, instead of having something like a trivia night.

It was also a fitting time for the shoe fundraiser as football and soccer season were just around the corner, she said.

There are a range of shoes available to buy from the organisation, including brands such as Puma and Blades.

All kids shoes are $40, while adult sizes are $50.

There are also some tennis, basketball and golf shoes available.
