The visit was part of a new partnership between the university and the Hear Our Heart Ear Bus.
Student audiologists Kerrie Miller and Madeline Pearson joined the bus for three days, helping to train volunteers and work with students.
“We were so thrilled to have hosted the two students who spent time to educate some of our Hear our Heart volunteers,” Hear Our Heart director Rachel Mills said.
“The great thing is students said how much they enjoyed it too, and told us how much they want to come back.”
Ms Mills thanked Dubbo Regional Council for providing accommodation at the Dubbo Holiday Park.
