THE Dubbo Kangaroos are still alive in every grade after a hugely successful first weekend of finals in the Blowes Clothing Cup.
As well as the first grade side winning over Mudgee at home the second grade Roos did the same.
Theirs was a much more hard-fought result as they survived a late Wombats onslaught to win 26-20.
That win means they will also make the trip to Bathurst next week to take on Orange Emus, who were defeated by rivals City on Saturday.
The Dubbo third grade side and the colts made the trip to Orange to play in Saturday's qualifying semi-finals and both enjoyed the trip back to Dubbo after recording wins.
In thirds, Dubbo again showed they are a strong chance of defending the title they won in 2014 with a 12-6 win over Orange Emus.
The Roos finished the season in second and head back to Orange next week to take on Bathurst Bulldogs for a spot in the decider.
Dean Matthews' colts team will also return to Orange and will also take on the Bulldogs at Pride Park after an emphatic 34-7 win over Parkes.
The colts may be understrength in the coming weeks some unavailabilities expected but they will still head into the clash with minor premiers Bathurst with plenty of confidence.
In first grade, the grand final is already set to be in Orange but the ground will be decided next Saturday with City and Emus going head-to-head in the major semi.
City have been the favourites all season and will again start as favourites in front of what is expected to be a bumper crowd.
