A good crowd of players hit the course at Dubbo Golf Club last weekend, all in the name of charity.
The Hear Our Heart Foundation, along with the the Dubbo Deaf and Hearing Impaired Group, held a four-man ambrose fundraising day on Sunday with all money raised split between the two organisations.
With the Hear Our Heart group keen to have a specialist Ear Bus, a mobile health clinic offering services to children, in the local area, players all joined in with the target of going one better than the $4000 raised last year.
The rain held off for the players as they spread out over the course and began with a shotgun start before finishing together and enjoying a barbecue lunch afterwards.
Daily Liberal photographer Cheryl Burke was on hand to catch some of the best moments for the money as the local community chipped in for a great cause.
