Dubbo Showground is being transformed to accommodate the 15,000 people expected to turn out to the free and all-age concert, where drugs and alcohol are not permitted.
The arrival yesterday of a semi-trailer carrying infrastructure and equipment signalled preparations were full steam ahead.

Dubbo City Council is providing the showground free-of-charge on Saturday, expected to be "partly cloudy" with temperatures ranging from 12 to 27 degrees.
It has also organised delivery of fencing, more than 100 portable toilets on trucks and 50-plus garbage bins, including the wheelie and skip variety.
The council has helped develop a vehicular and pedestrian traffic plan that will be managed by police, with the help of Dubbo Rescue Squad.
It includes the closure of the intersection of Wingewarra and Fitzroy streets during Saturday when parking at the showground will be restricted from noon.
Letters have gone out to nearby residents asking them not to park "out the front" from that time.
