Christopher Curtis Nott, 28, was arrested in Dubbo’s Avian Estate on August 25, the day after police raided a clandestine drug laboratory at Gilgandra.
Police allege Nott supplied packets of Codral cold and flu medication to the alleged operator of the laboratory in the knowledge pseudoephedrine in the tablets would be used in the illegal manufacture of methamphetamine
After entering a guilty plea, Nott was assessed for the Magistrate’s Early Referral Into Treatment (MERIT) drug and alcohol program. Magistrate Andrew Eckhold received a progress report when Nott appeared in court this week.
Mr Eckhold ordered a pre-sentence report and congratulated Nott for utilising the opportunity to deal with drug dependency.
Nott will reappear in court on February 22.
