The Bindii Club (group made up of ex-Dubbo students) organised the event to mark the milestone and to celebrate all education facilities in Dubbo.
Celebrations kicked off with a cocktail night on Friday where the 90-year pictorial display at the Western Plains Cultural Centre (WPCC) was officially opened.
Yesterday the guests were treated to a formal luncheon at the Dubbo College Senior Campus hall before finishing off with a debate involving past and present students.
Principal of the Dubbo College Senior Campus, Phil Halpin, believed the event was not only a great success, but a great way to show how far education in Dubbo has come over 90 years.
"It was a wonderful event that celebrated such a huge milestone in Dubbo education," Mr Halpin said.
"The event really raised awareness of the education facilities that we have here in Dubbo including Distance Education and the Mian School," he said.
Mr Halpin said the reason a major celebration was held for the 90-year celebration was because it was the first major milestone since the Dubbo College Senior Campus began operation in Dubbo.
According to Mr Halpin, the Bindii Club have plans to celebrate the 100th anniversary in much the same style only extended and magnified.
The 90-year pictorial display at the WPCC will be open over the next four weeks.
