Sydney West has won the NSW CHS boys cricket carnival after defeating Sydney South West in the final at Victoria Park No 1 Oval, their captain was also named player of the tournament.

Hawkesbury High School student Jay Dyball could be a name we hear for years to come after he led his side to a resounding victory 42 run victory.
He joins the likes of Australian vice captain Adam Gilchrist and NSW all-rounder Aaron O'Brien as winners of the Steve Rixon Perpetual Trophy.
In the final, Sydney West batted first and scored 9-175 through Daniel Jackson (34), Rohit Ramanathan (55), and Dyball (34).
While Josh Lalor and Adam Coyte were the pick of the Sydney South West bowlers, taking two wickets each.
Apart from Nathan Taylor, who top scored for the match on 57, the Sydney South West innings struggles to get going.
James Parkinson picked up two wickets and Mitchell Watterson took three for Sydney West as they had their opponents all out for 133.
Sydney West were the only side in the carnival to go undefeated.

Western placed fourth at the NSW CHS cricket carnival after smashing South Coast by 148 runs at Lady Cutler Ovals yesterday.
Alan Armstrong took 5-26 in a staring role for Western as they bowled South Coast out for 80.
The Dubbo College Senior Campus student was well supported by Parkes seamer Israel Symington 2-31 and Quandialla Central School student Brett Causer, who finished with figures of 2-12.
Western started the day well and decided to bat with NSW under 17 leg spinner Ryan Medley opening the batting.
Medley scored 43 before being run out, but not before he had shown his ability as an all-rounder.
Cowra's Daniel Hughes capped off a memorable tournament with 34 and built a good partnership with Mudgee High School teammate Michael Curtale, who top scored on 67.
Mudgee High School student and captain Scott Henry once again chipped in down the order with 29 runs.
Western were eventually bowled out for an
impressive 228 off their 50 overs.
Finishing with three wins from their four matches, Western manager Steve Chippendale was happy with the team's performance and consistency over the four days.
As a reward for his
consistent batting, bowling and leadership skills Scott Henry was named in the NSW CHS Firsts side for the second consecutive year.
Henry led from the front for Western over the four days, and rescued his side on the first day when he belted a half century when Western were in a great deal of trouble against Sydney East.
Dubbo College Senior Campus student Ryan Medley marked a great season by being selected in the NSW CHS Seconds side along with Western team mate Daniel Hughes, who impressed most with his elegant batting and strong fielding.
Western coach Steve Chippendale will once again coach the NSW firsts side.
