After establishing an 18-8 lead at half-time the Bears powered away after the break before giving the Dunedoo side an opportunity to score three late tries and narrow the gap considerably.
At the Crater the Binnaway Bombshells disposed of the Baradine Magpies to the tune of
52-32 in a high-scoring affair. With captain-coach Steve Milson leading the way the Bombshells set up their win in the first half leading 38-12 at half-time.
While the Magpies outscored the home side in the second stanza they never really threatened to take the lead at any stage.
The remaining game saw Warren run roughshod over Gulargambone at Gular, taking the match 62-22. Poor handling did not assist the home side's cause but they were simply outgunned by a Bulldogs side that will give plenty of cheek come semi-final time. Les Hammond was again relentless for the Galahs while Matt Hall, the Warren five-eighth, put in a big game for the visitors.
