A 39-YEAR-OLD Dubbo man has been issued with a string of fines following traffic incidents that occurred in Sydney.

Officers attached to the Traffic and Highway Patrol Command were first alerted to the truck at 5.30am on Wednesday.
"Police were alerted to an over-height heavy vehicle entering the Bourke Street on-ramp of the Eastern Distributor tunnel in Darlinghurst," officers said in a statement.
"Upon arrival police have observed a Victorian registered B double semi trailer driven by a 39-year-old Dubbo male stopped within the southbound ramp.
"He was in company with a 34-year-old Queensland male who was the co-driver."
Police from Central Metro HWP and Kings Cross PAC, with the assistance of RMS traffic commanders and Transurban staff, reversed the vehicle out of the tunnel and onto William Street were inquiries were conducted with the assistance of RMS Vehicle Regulation Inspectors.
"Measurements of the vehicle indicated that it was 4.45 metres high and CCTV footage showed that it had already attempted to enter the Lane Cove Tunnel and Sydney Harbour Tunnel earlier in the morning," officers said.
As a result of inquiries the driver was issued the following infringement notices:
- Disobey clearance/low clearance sign tunnel/bridge etc - $2316 (six points)
- Driver heavy vehicle contravene conditions of exemption - $661
- Driver not record prescribed information in written work diary - $165
The co-driver was issued:
