Emergency services are at the Renshaw McGirr Way scene, about two kilometres from the Wellington Showground.
The driver and sole occupant of the truck was not injured in the rollover that happened about 11am on Thursday, but a recovery operation is under way, Orana Mid-Western Police District advises.
The clean up of diesel fuel that has leaked on to the roadway is taking place.
Police encouraged motorists not to start on a trip that took them along Renshaw McGirr Way in the vicinity of the rollover.
"You will not get through at this stage," police said in a post to social media.
Dubbo Regional Council traffic controllers and clean-up crews, as well as police, and fire crews are currently on scene.
Police will advise when the road has re-opened.
