A high number of cars and two prime movers were all given a good scrub from the scouts, said Gavin Arnold.
Despite the chill, Mr Arnold said there were plenty of smiles from the group and warm water to ensure no one was cold.
Mr Arnold said the money raised from the car wash would not only help the scouts with purchasing items like tents and leasing the hall, it would help cover some of the cost for the scouts to attend the upcoming jamboree.
Twelve scouts from the 1st Dubbo group will be attending the jamboree in Tailem Bend, South Australia in January.
Mr Arnold said it was a once-in-a-lifetime experience for the scouts. The jamborees, which are held every three years, attract about 10,000 people from across the country, he said.
The scouts are also fundraising for the jamboree by sourcing and cutting up pallets to sell as kindling, Mr Arnold said.
