AT THE GALLERY
It was a great turnout for the ACO Virtual exhibition opening at the Western Plains Cultural Centre on Saturday, June 23.
DOWN THE MAIN STREET
Dubbo residents, and visitors to the City enjoyed a beautiful morning out to the Rotunda Markets on Sunday, June 24.
AT THE PROBUS CLUB
The Probus Club held their meeting in June and welcomed a guest speaker from the Neighbourhood Centre.
AT THE THEATRE
Residents enjoyed much-loved comedian Anh Do’s first of two sold-out shows at the Dubbo Regional Theatre.
NEW TO TOWN
Last Tuesday night local general practice training provider GP Synergy brought together 50 local health professionals and special guests including Dubbo MP Troy Grant for a networking event to help new GP registrars settle into town.
AT THE TRACK
Great fun and living team spirt on display at the annual Athletics Carnival. All students showed their houses great support with their team colours. – Helen Anderson
AT THE EISTEDDFOD
The Grand Concert for the 48th City of Dubbo Eisteddfod showcased a selection of the wonderful talent that has been staged during the 21 days of Dubbo's major cultural event.
AT SCHOOL
Kindergarten students got a special visit from a group of visiting Sydney University doctors in training to conduct a Teddy Bears Hospital Clinic. Students learnt how to bandage up their bears and conduct a thorough examination.
AT THE MARKETS
Good crowds and plenty of local produce was on hand at the recent Farmers Markets, held at Lions Park.
BACK AT THE THEATRE
Full dress rehearsals were underway as Dubbo College make final preparations for their musical production of Man of Steel. Tickets are selling fast at the DRTCC for shows June 27 and 28.
AT LAZY RIVER
More than 120 landholders and agricultural specialists have a greater understanding of how they can better manage biodiversity and boost their farm’s profitability, after attending a conference at Lazy River Estate.
AT THE SHOWGROUND
More than 1000 people attended the annual Dads for Kids Festival at the Dubbo Showground recently. The event encouraged families to get outside and spend time together.
