Police are appealing for information after the theft of an ATM and a substantial amount of cash from a hotel in Narromine.

About 1.55am Wednesday morning the owner of the hotel was alerted by the security alarm and witnessed two persons running from the hotel.
The owner chased the two offenders who are believed to have taken off in a white Holden Rodeo.
Police believe the vehicle matching the description of the car was discovered burnt out in Dubbo.
The hotel’s ATM with a substantial amount of cash were stolen from the premises.
As the investigation continues Orana Mid-Western Police District officer in charge Dan Skelly is appealing to the public anyone who may have information to come forward.
“We rely heavily on community assistance in solving crimes in the community,” he said.
