Community members can attend information sessions, workshops, practical live demonstrations and campus tours designed to showcase state-of-the-art facilities and course offerings, TAFE NSW said on Wednesday.
The Dubbo campus team will offer career advice, a chance to meet teachers and chat with inspiring graduates now working in their chosen field.
“TAFE NSW offers over 1200 courses in a range of critical areas in-demand from industry and provides students with the training they need to secure a job,” TAFE NSW Regional General Manager, Kate Baxter said.
“At TAFE NSW, students can study when, where and what they want and are supported by a talented community of career advisors, counsellors and teachers.”
Dubbo campus highlights will be an animal studies information session on January 16 at 9.30-11am and 3-5pm and campus tours during the week. For more information on activities at the Dubbo campus or the Facebook Live events, visit tafensw.edu.au/enrolment-week.
Ms Baxter aid the NSW Government provides significant subsidies for a range of courses at TAFE NSW, ensuring students can undertake the studies they need to upskill or find a new job, without having to graduate with a huge debt.
For those who can’t attend enrolment week, signature events from around the state will be live-streamed to the TAFE NSW Facebook page throughout the week, with extended hours and extra activities for “TAFE Tuesday” at select campuses.
TAFE NSW Enrolment Week 2017 attracted more than 10,000 attendees to 1300 events, with a further 26,000 people watching online via Facebook Live events.
