Larance, in action for Western Zone, made a dominant 133 for his side in a win over North Coast at Barooga on the Victorian border.
Western, which also features fellow Dubbo College year 10 student Ben Wheeler, went into the match after losses on day one and two.
Larance and Wheeler both missed out against North West, the former took 3/22 from his 10 overs before making 61 in a 56-run loss to Hunter.
His moment to savour then came on Wednesday, taking 12 balls to get off the mark before going on to dominate the North Coast attack and reach a century.
The NSW CHS carnival has featured some of Australia’s best cricketers in recent times with the likes of Steve Smith, Josh Hazlewood and the late Phillip Hughes all playing at the tournament.
