The final fields for the $20,000 Cup and the popular meeting’s six other races were released on Thursday morning.
Dubbo trainers Connie Greig, Darren Hyde, Garry Lunn, Peter Reynolds, Stephen Edwards and Justin Stanley will all line up hopes in the 1200m feature, with the latter coming off a last-start win with Prattler at Forbes on Saturday.
Prattler will jump from barrier nine at Narromine while Greg Ryan will ride Murranji from barrier seven for Mudgee trainer Mack Griffith.
Murranji heads to Narromine having failed to place at Scone and Gosford in two starts this preparation.
There will also be interest around the Dubbo City Toyota Maiden Handicap (1100m), with a number of debutants taking on those still searching for a first win in the sprint.
Painted Flowers will debut for Clint Lundholm in that event after failing to place in three starts while being based at Moe, Victoria.
The meeting starts at 1.11pm with the Bouchier’s Macquarie Valley Fuels Benchmark 65 Handicap Dandy Cup Cup jumps at 4.18pm on Saturday.
