The Outlaws’ hierachy has named a provisional 20-man squad for this year’s tournament, but have been given leeway to tinker with it given the local competitions only started last weekend.
Ryan said the bulk of last year’s squad, which won the final at the SCG, will be involved again this year.
“We’ll largely stick solid with the guys that got us there last year, but we’ll look at maybe bringing in Brock Larance and Jordan Peacock,” Ryan said.
“We have a lot of depth to choose from within our local ranks, which is good because our goal is to get back to the SCG.”
Last year’s marquee player Nathan Pilon is unavailable to play this season, with selectors looking at spinner Michael Bright, who has links to Parkes, to potentially fill that role.
