The free barbecue at the Church Street rotunda from 11.30am to 1pm on Monday will mark headspace Day which includes a national campaign.
“The national campaign is to share what you do when you’re feeling stressed,” headspace Dubbo’s Nic Steepe said.
“It’s a way to illustrate that we all feel low sometimes but more importantly, it gets people talking and hopefully recognising when they may need to reach out to services like headspace Dubbo.”
Suggestions will be posted on headspace Dubbo’s Facebook page across October, Mental Health Month.
Mr Steepe said the barbecue was a way to “say thank you to the community” for supporting headspace Dubbo’s work.
