Hunt was a fan favourite during his days with the St George-Illawarra Dragons, but the mental demons he fought during his playing days have led him to become a key worker in the area of mental health and suicide prevention.
A veteran of 150 first grade matches, Hunt is sure to be a popular figure during the course of the event.
The day will be used to raise some much-needed money for headspace, a youth mental health and wellbeing service for people aged 12-25.
Teams of four will get their lawn bowls, signage, finger food and drinks for $200, with family events such as jumping castles and face painting, as well as a charity auction also on offer.
Anybody interested in being part of the day is asked to contact Sporties development officer Nic Gannon on 0438 040 634.
