A big week of celebrations continued for the Rodney Robb stable at Nyngan when Rusty Motorbike roared in to action and won the Come-By-Chance Picnic Cup (1400m) on Saturday with Maddison Wright in the saddle.

The previous Sunday, stable jockey Wright and trainer Robb had combined to win the inaugural $50,000 Picnic Racing Championship Final in front of a bumper crowd at Dubbo Turf Club with Security Code.
The meet at Dubbo was much more glamorous than many picnic meets but’s where Robb has had his success and that’s where he was on Saturday.
Winner of seven races previously but out of form at recent starts, Rusty Motorbike ($3.60) clicked into gear in the feature at Come-By-Chance.
After an early challenge, he led the remainder of the trip to score by two lengths from Beau In Chains (Katie Spalding, $12) and Track Flash (Ricky Blewitt, $2.10 favourite).
Rusty Motorbike, who’s won Cups at Mallawa, Louth and Enngonia in the past, now has eight wins and 10 placings from 44 career starts.
Miss Emily made it three wins from three starts since joining the Kylie Kennedy stable at Narromine when taking out the Class B Handicap (1600m).
Ridden by Ashley Boyd, Miss Emily ( $2.10 favourite) raced handy to the lead and then won by nearly a length from Crixus (Shannon Fogg, $8) and Calibrium (Kath Bell-Pitomac, $7).
Wellington based Kath Bell-Pitomac had earlier won the feature Sprint race (1000 metres) on the Bryan Dixon, Gilgandra trained Wide Eyed ($4).
Wide Eyed swept around the field on the home turn and went on to defeat Ausbred Petal (Daniel Stanley, $4) and Poet's Trick (Katie Spalding, $3.40 favourite).
Kyle Rayner, who rode on the professional circuit more than 20 years ago, had his first ride at the Picnics at Come-By-Chance when winning the Maiden Plate on the George Wright, Parkes trained She's Wild ($2.80).
She’s Wild had tracked the leader before accounting for Archway Express (Maddison Wright, $21) and I Am Spartar (Ashley Boyd, $2.30 favourite).
Other winners were on the day were Magnormous (Ashley Boyd, $4.40), trained at Inverell by Wayne Oakenfull, and Going Grey (Daniel Stanley, $4.40) from the Moree stables of Nathan Sinclair.
