A Year 9 student, Kasey has headed to Tamworth for the Reining Australia National Championships at the city’s Australian Equestrian and Livestock Events Centre.
She qualified for the national event when competing at state level at Sydney in July.
Dorian, in Year 8 at Macquarie Anglican Grammar School, will compete alongside former Commonwealth gold medallist Kelvin Kerkow in a major lawn bowls tournament at Club Dubbo on Saturday and Sunday.
He is one of six junior bowlers selected for teams that will include high-profile competitors.
In August Dorian played in a seven-a-side competition that attracted more than 100 of the state’s best junior bowlers to Dubbo.
Headmaster of Macquarie Anglican Grammar School Craig Mansour said its students, staff and parents would be “cheering for both Kasey and Dorian as they compete at a very high level” in their respective sports.
