Fifth generation circus performer Hewinson Lyezkosky is one of about 30 stars looking to wow the audience.
Mr Lyezkosky said he had showed off his skills through a range of methods over the years but currently performed on the high wire and in the Wheel of Death.
The best part of the circus was the feeling of happiness when you saw the reactions from the crowd, he said, whether it was their delight or children covering their faces, worried about the tricks being performed.
It was also an adrenaline rush, Mr Lyezkosky said.
There have been a number of different circuses pass through Dubbo recently, but the performer said what made the Great Moscow Circus different was that they had the best international stars.
“It’s one of the best circuses in the world and I can say that because I’ve worked all over,” Mr Lyezkosky said.
The circus will be in Dubbo until Sunday.
