A 27-year-old Nyngan man has been refused bail until Monday after police allegedly seized drugs and cash from a car in West Dubbo overnight.
About 12.40am on Thursday, police saw a Holden utility allegedly speeding on the Newell Highway.
Officers followed the vehicle and stopped it in the car park of a fast food restaurant.
After speaking with the male driver and female passenger, police conducted a search of the vehicle, seizing what they allege was 60 grams of methylamphetamine (ice) from a void within the centre console.
Also seized was an amount of cash and alleged drug paraphernalia.
The pair was arrested and taken to Dubbo Police Station, where the woman was released pending further inquiries.
The man, Zachary Robert Heenan-Adams, was charged with possess prohibited drug, supply prohibited drug, and goods in custody suspected of being stolen.
He was refused bail to appear before Dubbo Local Court on Thursday, where he was further refused bail to appear again on August 7.
