In the first round after the two-week hiatus, Fusions Heat kept its undefeated run going with an utterly dominant 66-22 victory.
Heat was always favourite to score victory, having dominated the competition up to this point while the Hornets have battled so far this year and remain at the foot of the table without a win.
Fusions Heat remains on top, just two points ahead of a Fusions Johnies side which had the bye on Saturday.
St Diamonds kept alive its chance of a top two finish with a closer win over Fusions Fire.
The Diamonds side is now just four points adrift of Fusions Johnies.
Fusions Heat will enjoy the bye this coming weekend while St Diamonds has a great chance for another win and maintain pressure when it takes on the Hornets.
