The Jets are winless after four rounds this season while the Magpies remain second despite last week’s 28-16 loss to the Nyngan Tigers.
Captain-coach Jake Grace stated “errors and penalties killed us” in the loss to the Tigers and there is no doubt the side will be keen on producing the type of disciplined style which helped the men in black and white claim last season’s Group 11 title.
Grace will also be keen to see his side fire in attack again, with last week’s total of 16 the lowest scored in some time.
For Narromine, it is another huge test in what is quickly becoming a difficult season.
The Jets went close to a breakthrough win last week against Wellington but the Cowboys hung on to win by just six points.
The Jets’ defence will be key on Sunday afternoon.
