Mr Arnold won the competition on The Daily Liberal website to be a passenger at the Team D-MAX performance at Dubbo Show on Saturday.
The performance will include high speed drifting, two-wheel driving and a 12-metre ramp to ramp jump from the premier driving team.
But Mr Arnold is confident he has the skills not just to be a passenger, but to take over as driver.
“[I’m] pretty eager to see if the D-MAX’s go as well as the old Triton. I might score myself a job if they let me drive,” he said.
The team is lead by Jack Monkhouse, who has been part of the precision driving unit for ten years.
The show is completely weather dependant, Mr Monkhouse said. While the team devised a basic routine, something as simple as a dusty track could impact the stunts they were able to perform.
The D-MAX show will be in the centre ring at 1.30pm and 7pm on Saturday, as well as 12pm on Sunday.
