More than 177,000 people have already made the pledge for zero road deaths since the campaign began in 2007.
Members of Orana Local Area Command, Dubbo Rescue Squad and Dubbo Regional Council were at the rotunda on Friday to urge more to join. The inflatable car will also be at Dubbo Show on Saturday.
Dubbo Rescue Squad president Robert Chenhall said zero road fatalities was an achievable goal.
“Part of our job is to make sure people stay safe on the roads, and that means you don’t use your mobile, you take regular breaks, and be mindful of the other drivers on the road so people stay safe and they don’t get killed on the roads,” he said.
”Take your time because that one minute rushing there, it could mean your life. There are other road users on the road and you need to be mindful.”
Mr Chenhall said one of the biggest dangers was fatigue.
“People say ‘oh I’m only half an hour away from Dubbo, I can do it’, and they fall asleep, and then they’re gone,” he said.
