Dubbo Sportsworld is the venue for the event, which brings together officers attached to commands from all corners of the state, as well as one team from Queensland.
“It’s great that we can bring together police from all over NSW, and a team from Gympie as well, and socialise in a way that we don’t really get a chance to do that often,” organising committee member Simon Madgwick said.
“It’s a chance to renew those friendships that have been built up at previous tournaments, share experiences and relax a bit away from the rigours of work.
“Dubbo has a great facility here, as well as enough accommodation for everyone, and it’s a nice, central location that everyone can access.”
Play started on Friday and will continue on Saturday, with the final scheduled for 3pm.
A dinner for the players will be held at the Garden Hotel on Saturday night.
