Six gardens will be open to the public on Sunday, giving the Dubbo community a chance to show off their green thumbs.

Dubbo Autumn Gardens will begin at 9.30am with a visit to 33 North Burrabadine Road, where horticulture writer Fiona Ogilvie will talk about the greenery. Ms Ogilvie will also speak at 1.30pm at 3R Old Dubbo Road.
Stalls will be set up at the Community Garden. Food and tea will also be available.
The event will raise funds for Can Assist to help Dubbo cancer patients with their transport and accommodation costs for treatment.
As well as the $25 entry ticket, a raffle will also be held. The winning prize is for two return tickets to Melbourne or Brisbane with JETGO. A wheelbarrow from Bunnings, children’s books by local author Pat Clarke, as well as an array of other prizes will also be drawn.
Tickets will be available at the gardens on Sunday, or Dubbo Square on Friday and Mitre 10 on Saturday morning.
The raffle will be drawn on Sunday afternoon.
