Police believe a man was skating along the middle of a road when he was struck by a vehicle in South Dubbo this week.

According to police the male was skating along Boundary Road at 8.15pm on Tuesday when the incident occurred.
The 21-year-old sustained facial injuries and was conveyed to Dubbo Base Hospital in a stable condition.
“He was skating along the road around that dusky time of night and he’s been hit by a car,” Inspector Dan Skelly from the Orana Local Area Command said.
The 64-year-old driver of the vehicle returned a negative blood alcohol result.
Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward as investigations into the incident continue.
