The division one winning ticket for Saturday’s draw was sold by Talbragar Street Newsagency.
Two days on from the numbers being unveiled, NSW Lotteries is waiting for the mystery winner to come forward to claim the first division prize of $1,376,411.74.
The winner was not registered to a Players Club Card so NSW Lotteries has no way to contact them and is urging anyone who purchased a ticket in Saturday Lotto at Dubbo to check as soon as possible.
NSW Lotteries spokesperson Matt Hart said the Dubbo million-dollar prize was one of three division one prizes won nationally from that draw, but was the only one from New South Wales.
“We all know the start of a new week can be a busy time as people head back to work and their daily lives,” he said.
“Somewhere out there is our mystery winner who could have forgotten to check the Saturday Lotto ticket they bought.
“Imagine being a millionaire but not knowing it.
“It’s the type of news that could really turn your week around – especially on a Monday.”
Talbragar Street Newsagency owner Peter Snare said the store was eagerly waiting for the missing millionaire to come forward and check their ticket.
“How exciting! We’d love to break the news to one of our lucky customers,” he said.
“We’ve sold a few division one winning tickets to local residents during our 33 years and we love hearing our winners’ stories.”
NSW Lotteries reminds players of the importance of registering their tickets to a Players Club Card so all of their prizes are secure and they can be contacted directly with the good news of a big win.
