World Masters Track Champion Renee Covington, recent multiple national under-17 track champion Ashlee Jones, and World Masters Track medallists Darryl Thorncraft and Graham Peadon head up a strong line-up of riders for the senior carnival.
The Cliff Hazell Memorial Wheelrace, this year sponsored by Northern Region Couriers, will again be a hotly contested race this this time around and will also likely be a fast and exciting affair with a number of talented riders expected.
The senior carnival includes a number of races for the senior riders, with two scratch races, a handicap race, a Wheelrace qualifier and a keirin all contested on a bumper card of racing.
The Junior Track Championships for the under-9 to under-13 riders gets underway at No.1 Oval from 2pm on Saturday afternoon, while the senior carnival commences at 4pm.
