The bold words “A city on the move” make for a statement piece along the sides of a Transforce truck who was the latest company to jump on board the marketing initiative.
Transforce is the fourth trucking company to work with council in what City Promotions and Event Supervisor, Lana Willetts, said will help raise awareness of what a great place Dubbo is to live, visit and invest.
“They will join Rod Pilon Transport, Thompsons Brothers Transport and Robert Holmes Transport who promote the city through a space on the curtains of one of their fleet vehicles,” Ms Willetts said.
“The partnership between Transforce and the city follows the business’ recent success at the 2016 NSW Business Chamber Awards.
“As regional winner at the Awards, Transforce is a shining example of how businesses can grow and develop in regional NSW and testament to the opportunities that exist in Dubbo.
“Partnerships such as this help bolster messaging, increase audience reach and extend the positive promotion of Dubbo to new markets.
“Thanks to the generosity of Transforce, Dubbo will be promoted as a centre of excellence for investment and growth across the road network of NSW and beyond.”
Transforce founder and managing director, Steve Fieldus, said the partnership was an exciting opportunity for his company and was a no-brainer when it comes to supporting council’s marketing initiative.
“With a long-term commitment and plan to provide reliable transport services to the Dubbo community, it was an instant yes from us when asked if we would donate the space on one of our trailers,” Mr Fieldus said.
"For us as a company we're strategically building the growth of Transforce in and around the Dubbo region.
“Dubbo is our head office so for us this is a no-brainer to be involved.
“We’re investing in Dubbo ourselves so we want to promote that.”
Mr Fieldus couldn’t have gotten any more genuine in expressing his admiration for the city.
“Dubbo is probably one of the state’s biggest growth centres at the moment so this message is timely,” he said.
“We're a city on the move. The opportunities are great for anyone who'd consider doing business in rural New South Wales. In my opinion there's no better option than Dubbo.”
The Transforce trailer will travel all over NSW with a clear message to those looking to invest in a regional area.
