The competition leaders will be without four of its best players on Saturday with captain Greg Buckley, Jason Ryan, Wes Giddings and Marty Jeffrey all headed for the Sydney Cricket Ground.
The understrength Colts meet Souths, who will be without captain Mitch Bower for the same reason, at Lady Cutler 2 in a 50 over contest.
Despite the four key absences, the ladder-leaders still possess a strong side with the likes of Chris Morton, Paul Hulthen, Ben Semmler, Jake Caudwell and Brad Cox all named to play.
Nathan Jones and Mitch Ashford are also expected to be key with the ball with fellow spinners Buckley, Giddings and Jeffrey all missing.
The Hornets head into the match off the back of a win over Macquarie last week.
Play begins at 12.30pm.
