With Macquarie Valley playing a rare Saturday match, each RSL-Whitney Cup club has been affected but none arguably moreso than the two sides who will clash at Lady Cutler 2 on Saturday.
Colts will be without opening bowlers Tom Atlee and Ben Semmler while star all-rounder Greg Buckley will also be with the Macquarie side in Orange.
Rugby has had arguably its two best players taken away, with leading batsman Jordan Moran and the hard-hitting James O’Brien, who also opens the batting, both missing.
Colts still possess firepower with Wes Giddings, Chris Morton and Jason Ryan already impressing this season while Rugby will look to veteran Nathan Munro and Dan Horrocks.
A win for Colts will see the side move further ahead at the top of the ladder.
