Police are investigating the theft of 23 firearms from a property near Dubbo this week.

On Thursday, officers from Orana Local Area Command were notified about a break and enter on a property on the Newell Highway, Brocklehurst, 15km north-west of Dubbo.
Police have been told someone had forced entry into several buildings on the property and a total of 23 firearms and ammunition were stolen.
The owners believe the property was broken into between Monday, September 26 and Thursday, September 29.
Investigations are continuing and anyone with information is urged to come forward.
