In taking out the prestigious award, that recognises the club as Dubbo's most outstanding business for 2012, the RSL was a finalist in eight Rhino awards categories this year.
They won two Silver Rhinos, one each for affiliate businesses One 7 Eight Restaurant and Dubbo RSL Aquatic Health Club.
The points allocated to the affiliate businesses were not part of the Dubbo RSL's overall point score success.
One of Dubbo's leading businessmen and general manager of Metroll, Kevin Saul was named Dubbo's 2012 inductee in the Jean Emile Serisier Roll of Honour.
Described as an inspirational businessman who always put family first, Mr Saul was recognised as a man who worked tirelessly to make the local community a better place.
Chamber president Sandy Dunshea said last night's winners were a good reflection on the balance between business and community creating success in Dubbo.
"This year, in Dubbo RSL Memorial Club and Kevin Saul, we see terrific examples of the need to be a part of the community to be successful in business in a regional centre," Mr Dunshea said.
"The RSL is so much more than the Soldier's Club it was established as in 1947 - it is now one of Dubbo's largest employers and a highly successful business.
"It continues to provide support services for returned service men and women, as well as being a hub for social and sporting activities for more than 18,000 members, their friends, family and visitors.
"While Kevin Saul gained statewide recognition in 2006 through the introduction of Brendan's Law, which significantly increased the penalties for hit-and-run drivers and recognised the untimely death of his young son, he is also a dedicated and committed member of our community and a voice for other people.
"He is an outstanding employer and is responsible for one of the most dedicated teams of employees in Dubbo. His approach to working with the local construction industry has positioned Metroll as one of the leading building materials suppliers in this city."
