The men's Lions side travels to Parkes while the Blue Jays make the trip to Orange to take on Confederates.
The Blue Jays are coming off a bye and are aiming to turn around a season which promised so much but has so far delivered very little.
The Dubbo side sit on the bottom of the ladder, two points behind Saturday's opponents.
Feds are also without a win but are coming off two promising draws against Bathurst Souths and Parkes United.
The match is shaping as a particularly interesting one for Dubbo-based goalkeeper Lilli Campbell.
Campbell made the switch to the Orange side during the off-season due to limited chances with the Blue Jays.
She has also had to bide her time at Feds, with Kath Cox regularly standing between the sticks but Campbell will get her chance on Saturday, against her former teammates.
Prior to last week's bye the Blue Jays had recorded a 2-all draw with Zig Zag and also a 1-0 loss to Bathurst City.
Those two close results show the side is improving and more will be expected on Saturday, despite it being a tricky away trip.
Saturday's match at Orange Hockey Centre begins at 1.10pm.
In the men's division, the Lions are coming off arguably their best performance since their round one win over a Bathurst City, a win that was rescinded after the Lions were found guilty of playing an unregistered player.
The Lions technically remain winless but last weekend showed real fight in their 2-1 loss to competition favourites St Pat's.
Particularly pleasing for coach Graeme Waters was his side's attack, which pushed St Pat's back into their own half numerous times.
Not so pleasing is the fact the side will again be without a number of players, something which has become all too common.
The battle to field the same lineup each week has been one of the major reasons the Lions have struggled for consistency this year.
The Lions can take some comfort in the knowledge Parkes are also expected to be without a number of key players.
The Lions and Parkes United do battle from 2.50pm on Saturday.
