Wesley House Players Theatre Company is presenting something a little different in its musical soiree, Sounds of the Sixties.
Raelene Burn, always one to take on a challenge, has put together the show that is a collection of some of her favourite songs from the era.
The Wesley House Players musical director invited vocalists and musicians to participate in the one-night, cabaret-style performance.
Local artists set to take to the stage include mother-daughter team Sharon Simons and Jessica Simmons, Deborah Beasley, Earle Shields and more.
The production includes the added bonus of a selection of cheeses, canapes and petit fours with a glass of wine included in the ticket price.
"Audience members seated at tables will be able to enjoy a glass of wine while listening to lounge-type music," Ms Burn said.
"It will be fun for our theatre company to do something different and break away from our usual musicals and plays."
Songs made famous by the likes of Dusty Springfield, The Ronettes and Frank Sinatra are on the program for the show, to be held at the Wesley Community Hall on the corner of Church Street and Carrington Avenue.
Bookings can be made at "Indulge on Macquarie" and seating is limited, so the theatre company is urging people to get in early to secure their ticket.
