World Championship winning duo Natalie Bode (nee von Bertouch) and Rebecca Bulley will run two clinics for aspiring stars at the Nita McGrath Netball Courts.

The first clinic will be for youngsters aged 8-13 years while a 14+ session will follow.

"It's going to make a huge difference and it's giving the girls exposure to some different coaches and high level coaching," Dubbo Netball Association's Michelle Williams said.

"It will help with skill development and build some confidence for the rest of the season."

Bode, who played the majority of her career at centre, captained the Australian Diamonds to the 2011 World Championships gold medal.

That match was a thrilling one, a one-point win over New Zealand in extra time, and was Bode's second gold following success at Auckland in 2007.

At the peak of her powers, Bode was regarded as the best centre in the world and was part of the dominant Adelaide Thunderbirds side which won two ANZ Championships before her retirement at the end of the 2013 season.

Bulley retied last year after a hugely successful 2015.

She was a member of the Diamonds side which won the World Championships while she was also key for the ANZ Championship winning Queensland Firebirds team.

A strong defender, Bulley was also part of the side, along with Bode, which won silver at the 2010 Commonwealth Games at Delhi.

Having players with such successful and distinguished careers visiting Dubbo is a rarity but it continues a string of high profile visits to Dubbo in terms of netball.

Susan Pettit (nee Pratley) ran a skills session at the courts last year while Catherine Cox is another who has been in town in recent times.

"It's amazing to have two ex-Australian World Championship winners to come here and it's good because we've had a couple of high profile people before but this is some variety," Williams said.

"They're more centre court and defensive players while in the past players who came have been attackers."

Friday evening's sessions begin with the 8-13 years clinic from 5-6.30pm while the 14+ follows that from 6.30pm to 8pm.
