The Saturday shoot was hampered by strong winds and mirage for most of the day with many shooters being caught out by the rapid changes.
At 1000 yards a complete miss due to a slight wind change is always on the cards.
At the end of the first stage, Dave Forster led the A-graders with a 45/50 while in F-class, Anthony Cahill was shooting well and scored a 53/60.
The second stage had some shooters improve while others fell victim to the wind. A hit of 47/50 gave Norm Brown the A-grade Cock O'the Walk with an off-rifle score of 85/100.
In F-class, Anthony Cahill hung on to win by one point from a strong finishing Clive Simpson, and Locky Simpson was the winner in C-grade.
The weekly handicap trophy went to Anthony Cahill and the "pin-hole" survived another week.
Individual scores were:
Scott Monaghan 37/47, F-class total 84/120; Rob McKay 39/45, off-rifle 84, handicap 3, total 87/100; Lionel Morrish 41/41, F-class total 82/120; Bec Collins 36/37, F-class total 73/120; Clive Simpson 43/56, F-class total 99/120; Locky Simpson 27/31, o/r 58, hcp 12, total 70/100; Rob Rainbow 47/49, F-class total 96/120; Norm Brown 38/47, o/r 85, hcp 7, total 90/100; John Sidoti 9/22, o/r 31, hcp 26, total 57/100; Dave Forster 45/33, o/r 78, hcp 3, total 81/100; Anthony Cahill 53/47, F-class total 100/120; Peter Taylor 44/46, F-class total 90/120.
